Nothing Good Ever Happens

Neil, a painter and graphic designer, finds himself at a crossroads when his girlfriend, Amanda, abruptly leaves him and moves out of their shared rental home. Struggling to cope with the sudden upheaval, Neil engages in a drastic act by accidentally drinking a glass of bleach. This alarming incident lands him under suicide watch, with mandatory court-appointed therapy sessions, and facing the stark void left by Amanda’s departure. As Neil navigates this turbulent time, he grapples with the question of how to restore his sense of self-worth. Should he attempt to win Amanda back, rekindle friendships, confront his distant father, or perhaps indulge in comfort foods like Chinese takeout? Alternatively, finishing his current painting might be his path to redemption. Whether Neil manages to find his way remains uncertain, and viewers are left rooting for his journey to clarity and peace.
