Kept

In Los Angeles, two homicide detectives are bewildered by a series of murders, all pointing back to Barbara, the business manager of a thriving architectural firm she operates with her husband, Lance. The victims, former interns at this firm, were not only killed but each had been romantically involved with Barbara, kept in an upscale apartment and watched through closed-circuit television by the approving Lance. Kyle, the newest intern and current lover of Barbara, finds himself potentially at risk as his feelings for her deepen, and hers seemingly reciprocate. Meanwhile, in the backdrop are Erin, the firm’s near-sighted administrative assistant, and Tony, Kyle’s previous roommate who also shares a connection with Barbara. Can the detectives unravel the mystery before more lives are endangered? Kept (2001) is a thrilling watch.
