I Am Elizabeth Smart

In the summer of 2002, a young teenager named Elizabeth Ann Smart, played by Alana Boden, was kidnapped from her Salt Lake City residence by Brian David Mitchell, portrayed by Skeet Ulrich, who is depicted as a religious zealot. Along with his malignant accomplice, Wanda Barzee, played by Deirdre Lovejoy, Mitchell took Elizabeth to a secluded camp in the hills where she was imprisoned. During her harrowing nine-month ordeal, she endured starvation, drugging, assault, and was forced to participate in strange religious ceremonies until she orchestrated her own escape.
