Banat

Set against the backdrop of Bari, a city grappling with a persistent economic downturn, Ivo, an agronomist, finds himself compelled to take a job in Romania’s fertile Banat region due to limited opportunities at home. Meanwhile, Clara, fresh from a breakup and on the brink of losing her harbor position, finds herself in a situation mirroring Ivo’s. The pair has a chance encounter, leading to a mutual understanding that blossoms quickly over one night before Ivo leaves. This brief encounter is enough to kindle a deeper connection, prompting Clara to visit him in Romania where their romantic journey unfolds. Still, they must confront the question of whether leaving their homeland is the only path to find true contentment.
