Murdered for Being Different

This gripping drama recounts the harrowing true-life event of the murder of Sophie Lancaster, a 20-year-old who tragically lost her life in 2007, beaten to death in a park by a group of attackers. Her boyfriend, Robert Maltby, suffered a brutal assault as well, leaving him in a coma. Their only crime: embracing the goth subculture. The film dramatically captures the senseless brutality faced by the couple simply because of their appearance.
