Fireworks Wednesday

In the lead-up to their planned holiday trip to Dubai, a suspicious wife fears her husband may be unfaithful and decides to seek assistance from Roohi, a young cleaner dispatched by an agency. She instructs Roohi to visit the salon of the woman she suspects and gather pertinent information. Roohi, who is engaged and inexperienced with marital strife, finds herself inadvertently entangled in the couple’s tense dynamic. Throughout the day, interactions among the couple, their young son, the wife’s sister and her husband, along with the beautician, unfold in a crescendo of misunderstandings and strained encounters. Could the wife’s fears be unfounded, and could her actions actually threaten her marriage? Small acts of goodwill can sometimes have unintended consequences. And what will become of their planned getaway to Dubai?
