I Am Nancy

In the autobiographical documentary, *I Am Nancy*, Heather Langenkamp takes center stage as she delves into her distinctive journey of portraying the iconic teenage character Nancy Thompson, created by Wes Craven. With a playful sense of humor, Heather explores a thought-provoking question: “Why has Freddy become a cultural icon, overshadowing Nancy?” Having witnessed the marketing frenzy surrounding Freddy Krueger firsthand and the burgeoning fandom at horror conventions, not to mention the success of the eight *Nightmare on Elm Street* films, Heather contemplates the importance of heroes in today’s monster-obsessed society. Step into Nancy’s world and see Elm Street through a different lens. You can stream this insightful exploration online. Watch *I Am Nancy (2011)* for free right here on cineby or 123Movies.
