Inspired to Ride

On June 7, 2014, a group of 45 cyclists from various parts of the globe embarked on the first-ever Trans Am Bike Race, tracing the iconic TransAmerica Trail. The event challenged them to pedal through ten states, covering 4,233 miles in one massive stage race that was truly a transcontinental odyssey. *Inspired to Ride* captures the essence of this grueling journey, focusing on a select few cyclists as they gear up, participate, and endure the daily grind of riding 300 miles with minimal rest. Equipped with only their physical endurance, carefully selected equipment, and unwavering determination, they strive to cross the finish line. Adding to the challenge, these racers are completely self-reliant—lacking crew, support vehicles, and any monetary prize at journey’s end.
