Demonoid: Messenger of Death

A British woman travels to join her husband at a Mexican mine he’s trying to bring back into operation, only to find that the workers are terrified of a supposed ancient curse looming over the site. Determined to prove there’s no threat, the couple ventures into the mine, unwittingly unleashing a demon. This malevolent spirit seizes control of people’s left hands, compelling them to act in sinister ways. The only escape for those possessed is to amputate their own left hand, which then wriggles away to seek its next target. Demonoid: Messenger of Death (1981) captures this chilling tale perfectly.
