The Jennie Project

Hugo Archibald, a doctor with a penchant for exotic animals, brings home a new companion—a chimpanzee named Jennie. Despite Hugo’s frequent absences, his son Andrew forms a close bond with Jennie, who shares his interests in baseball and comic books. Jennie becomes a beloved member of the Archibald family, even though Hugo’s wife, Lea, initially views her as a source of chaos. Remarkably, Jennie learns to communicate using sign language, thanks to Dr. Pamela Prentiss’s training, though her methods clash with the family’s care style. Meanwhile, Lea discovers an approach that Jennie responds to well. The Jennie Project (2001) is available to stream online on 123Movies or cineby for those who wish to watch it free right now.
