Saving Mother Robot

In late December 2012, Taipei experiences an extraordinary winter heatwave with temperatures soaring into the 30s. Eight-year-old Tiger, portrayed by Antoine, lives with his divorced mother, Cao Yi, played by Vivian Hsu, who faces financial challenges working as a magazine editor while receiving decreased alimony from her ex-husband, Tang Kuo-chung. Tiger, whose lively imagination leads him to see his mother as a worn-out robot requiring an upgrade, tends to struggle academically, causing concern for his art teacher, Mini Yang, due to the somber drawings he creates in class.
