Super Buddies

When five young pups come across the mysterious Five Power Rings of Inspiron, they gain extraordinary super abilities. These alien artifacts were left behind on Earth 16 years ago. The puppies join forces with Captain Canine, who is on a mission to thwart the plans of the menacing alien, Commander Drex. Captain Canine, the leader of the spaceship Megasis from the planet Inspiron, is sworn to protect Princess Jorala and the power rings from Drex. To hide the rings, he conceals them on Earth and disguises himself as a German Shepherd. Adopted by young comic book enthusiast Ian Shaeffer and given the name Captain Canine, he lives a peaceful life on Earth. However, when the Buddies activate the rings and gain superpowers, he must train them quickly as Drex is making his way back to Earth with a new determination to conquer.
