Puppy Love

When Megan Nolan, a single mother, relocates to a new area, she grapples with the guilt of changing her ten-year-old daughter Caitlin’s life so drastically. Observing that Caitlin has formed a solitary friendship with a neighbor’s dog, Megan decides to adopt a pet from a shelter for her daughter. However, Megan is taken aback when Caitlin chooses the biggest and messiest dog, Jake, causing chaos around their pristine new home. She’s considering returning Jake when handsome baseball player Ben arrives, revealing that Jake is actually his dog, left behind due to a roommate’s error. Although Megan and Ben initially clash, he soon realizes Caitlin’s deep bond with Jake mirrors his own affection for the dog. It becomes evident that this beloved shelter dog deserves a shared home.
