Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le

Discovered at a young age, Michel’le, with her distinctive squeaky voice, was brought from South Central Los Angeles and thrust into the limelight during N.W.A.’s rise to fame. Immersed among influential figures like Eazy-E and Tupac Shakur, she swiftly rose in the music ranks; however, her achievements were soon eclipsed by deceit and industry corruption. A nearly ten-year relationship with the notorious Dr. Dre exposed Michel’le to a life marred by alcohol, drugs, and violence until Suge Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records, emerged as an unexpected savior. Their initial friendship blossomed into a romantic involvement, but Michel’le’s dreams of a fairy tale ending were shattered. With children from both men and a career to consider, her voice was stifled by Compton’s most powerful figures—until now. Stream “Surviving Compton: Dre, Suge & Michel’le” today.
