The Wild Boys

In his first full-length film, Bertrand Mandico weaves the captivating story of five teenage boys, intriguingly portrayed by female actresses, who are fascinated by the arts yet irresistibly lured into a life of crime. Their misadventures escalate with the intervention of TREVOR, a chaotic deity they cannot reign in, leading to a severe punishment: a journey aboard a ship with a determined captain intent on curbing their wild instincts. Upon reaching a vibrant island teeming with danger and delight, the boys undergo profound transformations in both their minds and bodies. With its stunning 16mm cinematography, “The Wild Boys” offers a heady mix of sensuality, gender fluidity, and humor that promises an unforgettable cinematic experience. Watch it now.
