Stockholm, My Love

“Stockholm, My Love” is a cinematic tribute to Stockholm, marking the first fictional work by director Mark Cousins and featuring the acting debut of musician Neneh Cherry. The film trails a woman as she navigates the streets of her beloved city, embarking on a journey of healing from a traumatic event that occurred precisely a year earlier. It delves into themes of sorrow, self-discovery, and how architecture and urban landscapes influence our lives, while also celebrating how walking and observing can uplift the human spirit. With a soundtrack featuring new compositions by Neneh Cherry alongside classics by Benny Andersson (of ABBA) and Franz Berwald, and stunning visuals crafted by Christopher Doyle and Mark Cousins, the film creates a rich, immersive experience.
