The Flag

Harry Hambridge, a struggling builder in London, faces a series of unfortunate events when he loses his job, his father, and his cherished pet hamster, Mouse, all in one day. Upon returning home to bury his father, he discovers a note from his grandfather, who claims to have hoisted the flag over the GPO during the 1916 Rising, which is now disgracefully displayed upside-down in an English army barracks. Tired of being the butt of life’s jokes, Harry teams up with an eclectic group to reclaim that “fecking flag” and perhaps reignite his zest for living.
