In Stereo

David and Brenda are seemingly meant to be, yet they’re oblivious to it. Post-breakup, they grapple with their own life crises: David becomes engrossed in a self-sabotaging art project, hindered further by an entanglement with a youthful beauty; meanwhile, Brenda confronts an unsuccessful acting career, impending eviction, and a lackluster relationship. Their paths unpredictably cross on a New York street during an especially trying period. David seizes the moment to invite Brenda to his debut photography exhibition, ushering in a night marked by indulgence and flirtation that culminates in a novel proposal on how they might reconnect without rekindling their romance. Crafted by writer/director Mel Rodriguez III, “In Stereo” offers a keenly perceptive and un-romantic take on the tangled nature of modern romance. Watch it here.
