Blame

In a future defined by advanced technology, society has evolved into a completely networked entity. An earlier “infection” threw the automated systems into chaos, creating a sprawling city that endlessly replicates itself. This new world is one where humans have lost control and are hunted by a security force known as the Safeguard. Within this vast metropolis, the small group called the Electro-Fishers faces extinction, caught between diminishing food supplies and the constant threat of the Safeguard. A young girl named Zuru embarks on a quest to find sustenance for her people. Unfortunately, she inadvertently attracts the attention of the Safeguard, which responds with deadly force. With her friends fallen and escape routes sealed, Zuru’s only hope lies in the timely arrival of Killy the Wanderer, a mysterious figure seeking the Net Terminal Genes—the crucial element needed to restore balance.
