Christmas Everlasting

As the festive season approaches, Lucy Toomey is on the brink of achieving a major career milestone with her promotion at a prestigious New York law firm. However, the unexpected passing of her older sister, Alice, who had special needs, forces Lucy to travel back to Nilson’s Bay, Wisconsin, to attend the funeral and manage the estate. Although apprehensive about revisiting her childhood home, Lucy is genuinely saddened by the thought of missing her sister’s final phone call. Upon her return, she encounters Peter, an old flame from high school and Alice’s former lawyer, who reveals the unique stipulations of Alice’s will: Lucy must reside in the family home for 30 days through the holiday season to inherit it.
