Hmyz

The Dung Beetle arrives late, the Parasite snoozes, and Mrs. Larva seems more focused on her knitting than on following the director’s instructions. This amateur theater troupe clearly has much work to do before their adaptation of ‘The Insect Play,’ the renowned 1922 satire by Karel and Josef Čapek, can hit the stage. The insects in the play are amusingly portrayed with very human-like characteristics, such as greed, self-centeredness, and jealousy. Hmyz (2018) is available to stream right here. You can watch it online for free on cineby or 123Movies.
