Wang-ui namja

In the late 15th century, during King Yeonsan’s rule, two street clowns, Jangsaeng and Gong-gil, make their living as entertainers. Part of their act involves tightrope walking, and they work for a troupe whose manager exploits the visually appealing Gong-gil by offering his company to affluent clients. Unable to tolerate this disgraceful conduct, Jangsaeng is revolted, leading to a critical moment where Gong-gil kills the manager in an act of defense for Jangsaeng. The two escape to Seoul and join forces with three other street performers, forming a new troupe. Discover the depth of their story by watching Wang-ui namja (2005).
