Bye Bye Blackbird

Set in the early 20th century, this engaging period drama follows Josef, a former construction worker known for his high-altitude dancing on girders above the city, as he transitions to working at a circus. Here, he catches the eye of the circus owner when he daringly performs on the trapeze, leading to his pairing with the owner’s daughter, Alice, for a breathtaking airborne duet. The film presents a romanticized portrayal of circus life, complete with a weathered angel dressed in his tattered, feathered costume. Stream Bye Bye Blackbird (2005) now.
