Hyeongsa

Set during the Joseon Dynasty, “Hyeongsa (2005)” chronicles the journey of a young police officer, Namsoon, portrayed by Ha Ji-won, as she and her colleagues uncover a counterfeit ring in their jurisdiction. This criminal enterprise isn’t merely printing fake currency—they aim to destabilize the economy and overthrow the government. While delving deeper into the investigation, Namsoon crosses paths with a mysterious figure known as Sad Eyes, played by Gang Dong-won, whose captivating gaze is enough to stir emotions within her, despite the fact that he might be destined for imprisonment. Though the logical part of Namsoon knows she should remain distant, her heart is drawn to him, leading her to act on these burgeoning feelings.
