Low and Behold

Turner Stull, an aimless young man, arrives in the hurricane-hit city of New Orleans to work as an insurance claims adjuster. He joins forces with his Uncle Stully, an experienced adjuster, and a hardworking team, who teach him to be swift, detached, and profit-focused. But Turner, who isn’t prepared for the emotional toll of dealing with people who’ve lost everything, finds himself struggling. His inexperience and uncertainty compound his difficulties. When Turner meets Nixon, a local man searching for his missing dog, he seizes the opportunity to help. In return for Turner’s assistance in finding the dog, Nixon aids Turner with his claim work. Together, they traverse the devastated landscape of New Orleans, leading Turner on a transformative journey. Low and Behold (2007) is a must-watch.
