Anthrax

In a remote Alberta ranching community, the sudden death of cattle due to anthrax sparks tension, prompting an RCMP officer to maintain order as locals point fingers at a nearby agricultural research center. Amidst the chaos, a determined reporter fuels the ranchers’ anger, leading to a sit-in at the controversial facility, spearheaded by none other than the Mountie’s determined mother-in-law. The situation escalates when an eccentric rancher succumbs to a lethal anthrax strain, forcing the quarantine of the protesters, while the mysterious disappearance of the reporter and several vials of the dangerous bacteria goes unnoticed. With the clock ticking, the RCMP officer launches his own investigation with insights from a U.S. government agent, desperately seeking to retrieve the stolen anthrax. Anthrax (2001) is right here.
