Wishin’ and Hopin’

Adapted from the best-selling novel by acclaimed author Wally Lamb, *Wishin’ and Hopin’* paints a vibrant picture of the 1960s in a warm and humorous holiday narrative. Dive into the world of Three Rivers, Connecticut, following young Felix Funicello, a fifth-grader at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Parochial School in 1964. Felix’s distant connection to Annette Funicello, the famous Mouseketeer and teen star, adds a touch of fame to his life’s backdrop. This holiday season brings unexpected charm as Madame Frechette, a new substitute teacher, and Zhenya Kabakova, a spirited Russian student, shake things up. As Felix navigates French kissing, cultural missteps, and lively tableaux vivants, *Wishin’ and Hopin’* builds up to a memorable Christmas event. Watch *Wishin’ and Hopin’* online for free now!
