Drowning Mona

The late Mona Dearly, played by Bette Midler, was notorious for her unpleasant behavior as an overbearing wife, an aggressive parent, an obnoxious neighbor, and a belligerent troublemaker. Thus, when her vehicle and body are found submerged in the Hudson River, Police Chief Wyatt Rash, portrayed by Danny DeVito, quickly leans towards foul play instead of an accident. In the small town of Verplanck, N.Y., where contempt for Mona ran high, Rash’s inquiry into her murder is suffocated by an abundance of possible culprits. Stream “Drowning Mona (2000)” today!
