A Man in Uniform

Henry Adler, residing solo in Ontario while managing a banking job and navigating a strained relationship with his harsh father, is also a passionate actor. His life takes a fascinating turn when he’s chosen to play a police officer in a realistic TV series. Energized by this role, he starts embodying his character beyond the set, strolling through city streets wearing a borrowed uniform. This newfound persona begins to influence his interactions, even with bank clients, leading to friction with his employer. Despite this, Henry doesn’t mind and develops feelings for a fellow actress, Charlie, with whom he rehearses frequently. However, his intense behavior unnerves her, causing her to sever their ties, leaving Henry utterly heartbroken. The situation escalates when, during his immersive roleplay, a genuine policeman mistakes him for a member of the force.
