The Innocent Sleep

Inspired by the 1982 scandal of Italian banker Roberto Calvi, “The Innocent Sleep” spins a gripping tale that chronicles the life of Alan, a homeless man from Northern England. After his wife’s death and losing his job, Alan inadvertently witnesses the murder of a well-known businessman one night while seeking refuge in an abandoned building. In a desperate attempt to remain unseen, Alan’s cover is blown when the assailants realize they have a witness. Seeking safety, he reports the crime to the authorities, only to find out that one of the murderers is involved in the investigation. In his fight for survival, Alan enlists the help of Billie Hayman, an American journalist who takes on his story. You can stream “The Innocent Sleep” online.
