Soshite dorobune wa yuku

In the Japanese countryside just north of Tokyo, Takashi embodies the laid-back, rural lifestyle. This self-proclaimed life expert spends his days avoiding work, living with his grandmother, and poking fun at his friend who has a job shoveling cow manure. However, their quiet life takes an unexpected turn when a young woman arrives, asserting that she is Takashi’s half-sister, a result of their father’s past misadventures. This unexpected family reunion proves to be more complicated than anticipated, as she’s not someone who’s easy to shake off. You can stream “Soshite dorobune wa yuku (2013)” online here.
