Ai de mian bao hun

In a quaint town bakery, Gao-bing is diligently working as an employee. The owner, Mr. Chiu, is more captivated by his Rock ‘n’ Roll band, while Di, the apprentice, lacks any real interest in mastering the art of baking. As the bakery’s business starts to decline, Gao-bing is at a loss and chooses to work even harder by baking more bread. His girlfriend, Ping, who is also Mr. Chiu’s daughter and grew up with Gao-bing, frequently criticizes him for adhering strictly to traditions instead of taking bold steps to rescue the bakery. Seeking to innovate with new flavors, Ping enrolls in baking courses in the city, where she encounters a charismatic American named Bread. From their first meeting, Bread is immediately smitten with her. Despite her relationship with Gao-bing, Ping is enchanted by Bread’s uniquely magical creations and senses he might be the perfect solution for reviving the bakery.
