Land and Shade

Alfonso, an elderly farmer, comes back home to care for his seriously ill son. Upon his return, he finds his former wife still residing in their old home, along with his daughter-in-law and grandson. The environment resembles a barren land, with expansive sugar cane fields enveloping the house in constant ash clouds. Having left 17 years ago, Alfonso is now faced with the challenge of reinserting himself into his family’s life and attempting to rescue them.
