Goodnight Mister Tom

In a quaint English village shortly before the Dunkirk evacuation, the reclusive “Mr. Tom” Oakley is haunted by the loss of his wife and young son, who died while he was serving in the navy during World War I. Grief has turned him into a solitary figure. As the community struggles to accommodate children evacuated from London, a reluctant Mr. Tom is compelled to open his home to a silent and withdrawn 10-year-old boy, whose quiet demeanor slowly uncovers deeper issues.
