Wannabe

Maxine once aspired to fame with the girl group Variety, but she never quite reached stardom and now struggles as the unsuccessful music manager for the teen pop group Sweet Gyal. Her world is shaken when Sweet Gyal, tired of her trying to realize her own dreams through their success and her awkward efforts to secure them a record deal, consider parting ways with her. But Maxine isn’t ready to give up just yet. She’s concocted a plan for a grand return that’s bigger, bolder, and unapologetically more mature. After all, who says the music scene only needs trendy young bands? It’s time for Mum Pop to make a splash. Watch Wannabe (2018) online for free and stream it right here.
