Little Wing

“Little Wing” is a coming-of-age tale about 12-year-old Varpu, who finds herself taking on adult responsibilities far too soon, unlike her mother, who resists maturity. Living with her mother, Varpu has never known her father. Frustrated with her surroundings one night, she takes a bold step by stealing a car and journeying north to find her father, whose name is her only clue. Yet, when she eventually meets him, he is not what she expected. This encounter profoundly impacts both Varpu and her mother Siru, helping them discover their places in each other’s lives and the wider world.
