Ghost Hunters

Ghost Hunters, an American reality TV series, first aired on October 6, 2004, on Syfy, showcasing the investigative journeys of paranormal experts Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson. These investigators delve into locations rumored to be haunted while continuing their roles as plumbers for Roto-Rooter during the day. With the series gaining popularity, their ghost-hunting adventures have become their primary focus, but they still hold honorary plumber positions and occasionally assist with jobs if their schedules allow.

This show is separate from the original 1996 Ghosthunters from Inca Productions, which aired on the Discovery Channel. It was adapted for American audiences by Pilgrim Films & Television and became what we know today as Ghost Hunters. Although Ian Cashmore was part of both versions, he decided not to continue with the U.S. series post-pilot filming.
