Sherpa

In 2013, the global news spotlighted a startling clash on a mountain when European climbers were chased away by a group of infuriated Sherpas. Filmmaker Jennifer Peedom and her crew embarked on a journey to investigate the origins of this conflict, with plans to document the 2014 climbing season through the Sherpas’ perspective. Unintentionally, they documented Everest’s most devastating incident, involving a massive ice block collapsing onto the path. Sherpa (2015) offers a gripping narrative about this event.
