Loreak

Ane, a woman in her mid-forties, is thrilled when she receives a gorgeous bouquet of flowers at her home. However, the identity of the sender remains a mystery, and she knows it isn’t her envious husband, Ander. As these enigmatic flower deliveries arrive every Thursday without fail, Ane finds her life taking an unexpected turn. Simultaneously, Lourdes is thrown into upheaval due to similar bouquets left at the site of her husband’s fatal accident. Driven by curiosity, Lourdes’ mother-in-law, Tere, is resolute in discovering who is leaving these flowers. Jon Garaño and José Mari Goenaga’s debut feature film “Loreak (2014)” beautifully explores the influence of floral gestures on the lives of three resilient women. “Loreak (2014)” is a must-watch online.
