The Real Ghostbusters

The Real Ghostbusters, an American animated TV series, is a spinoff from the renowned Ghostbusters franchise. With its run from 1986 to 1991, this series was produced by Columbia Pictures Television, DiC Enterprises, and Coca-Cola Telecommunications. The addition of “The Real” in the title arose from a dispute with Filmation over its Ghost Busters properties. The narrative continues to follow the thrilling exploits of paranormal investigators Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Egon Spengler, Dr. Ray Stantz, and Winston Zeddemore along with their secretary, Janine Melnitz, and their ghostly mascot, Slimer. Additionally, two ongoing comic series were published; one by Now Comics in the USA each month, and another weekly by Marvel Comics in the United Kingdom, alongside a beloved toy line created by Kenner.
