Surf’s up, dudes and dudettes! The iconic surfing era of the 1960s returns with a modern twist as Frankie and Annette headline this refreshed version of their beloved beach films. Look out for cameos by Bob Denver, Tony Dow, Pee-Wee Herman, Jerry Mathers, and other familiar faces. Now living in the Midwest, Frankie and Annette are parents facing new challenges. They head back to Los Angeles to visit their daughter, who’s secretly living with her boyfriend. Tensions arise as Frankie reconnects with Connie, who has dedicated a club shrine to him. Meanwhile, their rebellious son has fallen in with a local surf gang, leading to a climactic showdown between the surfers.
