Black Dynamite

“Black Dynamite” is an American animated series that draws its roots from the 2009 film sharing the same title, yet it branches out with a distinct storyline, while occasionally nodding back to its cinematic origins. This action-packed series was greenlit shortly after the movie debuted, with a 10-minute pilot hitting Adult Swim Video on August 8, 2011; the full-fledged series then captivated audiences on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim during its late-night segment starting July 15, 2012. Fans can once again enjoy the dynamic performances of Michael Jai White, Byron Minns, Tommy Davidson, and Kym Whitley as they reprise their roles as Black Dynamite, Bullhorn, Cream Corn, and Honeybee, respectively.
