December Boys

For several years, a group of four teenage orphans at an Australian outback convent has witnessed their younger peers being adopted by new families, causing them to confront the possibility that they may never have a family of their own. In a bid to give the boys a reprieve, the Reverend Mother arranges for them to take a vacation by the sea, where they encounter a couple named Teresa and Fearless, who seem to be ideal parents. As the boys compete with each other in hopes of being chosen for adoption by Teresa and Fearless, their story unfolds in unexpected ways. Watch “December Boys” streaming right here.
