The Spoils of Babylon

“The Spoils of Babylon” is a comedic American miniseries crafted by Matt Piedmont and Andrew Steele, directed by Piedmont, with an ensemble cast including Will Ferrell, Jessica Alba, Tobey Maguire, and Kristen Wiig, among others. This cleverly designed spoof draws inspiration from the grand “TV event” miniseries adapted from popular novels, a phenomenon that dominated American network TV during the 1970s and 80s. Originally airing on IFC on January 9, 2014, it humorously revisits the lavish melodrama of that era. This series, “The Spoils of Babylon,” is available for streaming online, offering a free watch opportunity on platforms like cineby and 123Movies, where you can dive into its nostalgia-driven satire.
