Wah-Wah

In the late 1960s, Swaziland stands on the brink of independence from the United Kingdom, and young Ralph Compton, aged 12, navigates the emotional turmoil of his parents’ painful divorce until he reaches the age of 14. The narrative draws heavily from Richard E. Grant’s personal teenage experiences in Swaziland, where his father served as head of education under the British government. The story captures a poignant snippet of history brilliantly. You can watch “Wah-Wah (2005)” streaming online for free right here.
