Zeke and Luther

“Zeke and Luther” is a lively animated sitcom on Disney XD that follows the journey of two best friends as they chase their dream of becoming the world’s top skateboarders. Featuring actors such as Hutch Dano, Adam Hicks, Daniel Curtis Lee, and Ryan Newman, the series is set in the fictional Pacific Terrace area of northern Gilroy, California—a location familiar from co-creator Matt Dearborn’s earlier work on “Even Stevens.” Ahead of its official television premiere, the episode “Bros Go Pro” was offered as a free download on iTunes in early June. The series made its debut in the U.S. on June 15, 2009. Following its success, it was renewed on August 2, 2010, for a third season, which began airing on February 28, 2011. In an interview with Deadline.com on June 18, 2011, Matt Dearborn announced that the third season would be the final one, closing with an extended episode on April 2, 2012, solidifying its status as Disney XD’s longest-running original series to reach three seasons.
