The Leap

In “The Leap (2015),” humanity discovers a new sanctuary in the form of New Earth after a prolonged space exploration. Eager to escape their decaying planet, Earth’s desperate inhabitants dream of a fresh start on this promising world, joining the ranks of scientists, governments, military, and the affluent who have already secured their place. Taking whatever means necessary, be it legal or illicit, has become a common aspiration for millions. To combat the rampant issues of illegal stowaways and massive-scale human trafficking, specialized police forces have been put into action, particularly in 22nd century London under the Inter-Planetary Migration Administration (IPMA). The gritty battles between IPMA officers and smuggling networks often leave innocent lives in turmoil. Detective Jacob Reiss, a seasoned IPMA agent with 15 years of experience, struggles with disillusionment until he crosses paths with a Cartel prostitute. This encounter gives him a glimmer of hope, offering a chance to break free from the haunting secrets of his past and carve a more fulfilling future. Watch “The Leap (2015)” on this site.
