Outside the Law

In the narrative stretching across continents, three brothers and their mother are displaced from their Algerian homestead in the 1920s. Each brother forges a distinct path: Messaoud enlists in the French army and finds himself embroiled in the conflict in Indochina, while Abdelkader emerges as a central figure advocating for Algerian independence within France. Meanwhile, Saïd carves out a life for himself amidst the vibrant yet seedy nightlife of Paris, engaging in activities within Pigalle’s clubs and boxing arenas. Watch “Outside the Law (2010)” now.
