Ma

In a quiet Ohio town, Sue Ann lives a solitary life, keeping mostly to herself until a chance encounter with Maggie, a newcomer eager for someone to buy her and her friends alcohol. Seeing an opportunity for companionship with this younger crowd, Sue Ann invites them to her home, offering a safe haven from drinking and driving in her basement. However, she enforces strict house rules: one of them must remain sober, no swearing, never venture upstairs, and they must call her “Ma.” As the teenagers enjoy their newfound hangout, Ma’s friendly demeanor starts to shift into something more menacing, turning their seemingly idyllic retreat into a place of dread.
