I Am Soldier

“I Am Soldier” tells the story of Mickey Tomlinson, portrayed by Tom Hughes, who is more than just a military chef. Mickey dares to undertake the grueling S.A.S. selection process, which is known for being one of the most perilous selections in existence. The S.A.S., hailing from the United Kingdom, stands as the country’s most distinguished Special Forces Regiment, responsible for high-stakes missions in the world’s most hazardous locations. Despite his culinary background, Mickey’s hidden military experience surpasses what his fellow candidates assume. He faces extreme physical and mental challenges, including strenuous speed-marches across steep terrain and the terrifying “Escape and Evasion,” followed by the intense “Tactical Questioning” interrogation phase. This demanding process tests every aspect of his being, pushing him to the brink. Success ultimately hinges on proving oneself in combat. This is a transformative experience. While many aspire to join the S.A.S., only the select few succeed.
